I have my Essentials test scheduled for 8-22, then my Practical Application test scheduled for 8-29. Was it a bad idea to schedule them both at the same time? What if I pass the Essentials, then fail the Practical Application test? Does that mean the Essentials portion is good for 3 years, and I just need to try and re-take the Practical Application? Wondering if I should have waited to see if I passed Essentials before scheduling P.A.?

Sounds like a well thought-out plan to me.

Don’t worry yourself over how you should react to failing. There’s a lot of material to remember, but most exam takers seem to get through the exams successfully. Your brain may not “warmed up” when you begin an exam, but after answering a few questions it all comes back to you better than you might expect. You will likely have extra time to review and change those beginning questions as well as others.

Good luck. Let us know how it went.
